The AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission to MBA, PGDM, and other management programs in participating institutes across India. Established in 1998, ATMA provides a standardized assessment to evaluate managerial aptitude and analytical skills of aspiring business students.

ATMA focuses on testing candidates’ quantitative, verbal, analytical, and reasoning abilities to assess their readiness for professional management education. Scores are widely accepted by numerous private and government management institutes in India.

Examination Pattern

The ATMA Exam typically follows this structure:

  • Mode: Computer-based test (CBT) or sometimes offline (paper-based)

  • Sections:
    • Analytical Reasoning Skills: Logical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning
